A windy day at the "beach"...

Back in the beginning of May (yes, way back...) I spent a couple days at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York. I was there for a conference, but the first day there was a free day for me. I took the short trip to Sylvan Beach where you'll find a beautiful lake, and a small, old amusement park. Sadly, the park was still locked up and not scheduled to open for a couple weeks. I wandered about, windblown by the gusts that were coming off of the lake and snapped a couple shots before I got back in the jeep and headed back to the casino. I'll make another trip up there now that the amusement park is open... could be some fun to be had there. Or at least a couple photo opportunities.

Nice stuff. I particularly love that last one.

There's a carnival rolling around here soon, and then the county fair comes into the area the last week of July. Hoping for some photo ops. =)
